Karlovac

Karlovac is a city situated in the central part of Croatia, known for its four rivers and its center that is surrounded by a star like fortification. It is located on the intersection of four rivers, the Kupa, the Korana, the Mrežnica and the Dobra, that have intersected to create a very unusual pattern in the cityscape. The oldest parts of the old town date back to the year 1579 and the walls of the old town are still strong today.
