Novigrad

Novigrad, a charming coastal town located in the northwest region of Croatia, is nestled on the west coast of Istria between Umag and Porec. Its rich history and culture, combined with its largely unchanged medieval atmosphere and traditional Italian-style architecture, make it a popular holiday destination.
The town is home to a stunning castle, built in the 10th century, which offers unforgettable views from its walls and overlooks a picturesque harbour filled with fishing boats. The narrow cobbled streets of the old town are filled with shops, bars, and restaurants offering local delights, as well as Venetian-style buildings such as a beautiful church and old-style public bathhouse. One of the highlights of a visit to Novigrad is strolling along the waterfront promenade, where you can take in the views of the Adriatic Sea and participate in water sports like scuba diving, sailing, and kayaking. The town is also known for its excellent beaches, ranging from sheltered coves to long stretches of golden sand, like the popular Cervar-Porat Beach. If you are seeking a blend of traditional Mediterranean atmosphere and laid-back sophistication, Novigrad is the perfect destination for you.
