Prvić

Island Prvić is a small Croatian island located off the Dalmatian Coast in the Adriatic Sea. It is part of the Šibenik-Knin county and has an area of 7.8km squared, making it one of the smallest inhabited islands in Croatia. The island is situated about 5 kilometers east of the mainland, in the Prvić archipelago with the surrounding islands of Lastavac and Sustipan.
Prvić is home to a permanent population of only 77 people, most of whom are involved in the fishing industry. However, it is known for its laidback atmosphere, peaceful environment, and beautiful beaches.
The island is full of natural beauty, with lush vegetation, rolling green hills, and crystal clear waters. There are numerous hiking paths for visitors to enjoy, as well as vineyards and orchards. Prvić also has several small churches and chapels, an old schoolhouse, and a bastion fortress.
One of the most popular beaches on the island is Srebrna beach, a popular swimming spot that is ideal for sunbathing. The rolling hills of the island offer stunning views from the nearby resort of Prodorra, located just around the corner from the beach.
As for accommodation, there are several options on the island, including villas and apartments with everything from basic amenities to luxurious furnishings. Visitors can also find a few restaurants offering traditional Croatian dishes such as mussels in olive oil and crunchy calamari.
It's not hard to see why Prvić is a popular holiday destination for many Croatians and an increasingly popular destination for foreign tourists seeking peace and relaxation. With its stunning views, crystal clear waters, and beautiful beaches, the island is a perfect spot to escape from it all and is beloved by both locals and visitors alike.
