Novalja

Located on the northern coast of the Croatian island of Pag, Novalja is a tourist destination that boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in the Adriatic Sea - Zrće Beach. Known for its crystal-clear waters and picturesque bay, Novalja offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, with three sunny beaches to choose from. While the town center can get crowded with tourists, small fishing villages and secluded coves can be easily accessed from Novalja, providing a more tranquil experience.
However, Zrće Beach is the main attraction in Novalja, famous for its lively party atmosphere and hosting one of Europe's most popular beach music festivals each summer. Located at the north end of Novalja, separated by a man-made peninsula, Zrće Beach is known for its crystal-clear blue water and stunning sunsets. On the beach, visitors will find a range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options, including bars, nightclubs, and water sports such as jet-skiing, paragliding, and kite-surfing. In the evenings, the beach comes alive with music, dancing, and firework displays.
For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, Novalja has plenty of parks, gardens, and promenades to explore, as well as charming terraces, ancient churches, and other attractions that are equally appealing during the day or at night. Adventurous travelers can even rent a car and visit nearby towns like Pag, Laurana, and Gajac. Overall, both Novalja and Zrće Beach offer a unique blend of natural beauty, vibrant nightlife, and peaceful relaxation, making it an ideal holiday destination for all ages.
