Brač

The island is home to a number of beautiful natural beaches, as well as historic villages and rural areas to explore. The remote beaches of Pakleni Otoci are particularly serene and romantic, and are considered some of the most beautiful spots in Croatia and the Balkan region.
Tourism is well-established on Brač, with a mix of small shops, hostels, and restaurants in the towns, as well as larger hotels in the main cities. Some of the main attractions include the centuries-old windmill, which has been restored in recent years, and several old churches that are open to visitors, including the 4,000-year-old Church of St. John-Krsto.
Brač is easily accessible by ferry from Split and Sveti Juraj, which both offer daily service. Smaller boats also transport visitors to less populated areas, but the most common mode of transportation on the island is by car.
